Saju Peter started his career with the State Bank of India as an internal auditor in 1983. In 1985, he joined the Oriental Insurance Company as an Assistant Divisional Manager where he implemented software and trained users.

He joined as the head of the accounting team for The Bahrain National Oil company in 1991 where he led functional people from various departments to provide a complete solution to their accounting procedures. He was recognized for his work in bringing down costs and given a cash award. Between 1994 and 1996 he worked for Q-Tel, a telecommunications provider in Qatar and the largest public company in that country, where he used his expertise in accounting and finance to implement Oracle Financials, replacing a costly local system. He earned a promotion for this achievement.

In December of 1996, he joined Oracle's consulting division in the Middle-East and worked in various roles as Project Manager, Consultant and Architect. He worked on various short-term projects in diverse sectors in the region.

In March of 2000, he moved to the support division of Oracle in the US as a Support Engineer/Operations Manager and in the next 6 years rose up to be a Senior Manager, leading a team of 18 professionals in Oracle's Premium Support organization.

Saju was an expert in his field. He had a natural flair for finance and accounting and was able to grasp the intricacies of corporate finance and find ways to optimize traditional practices. His dual role as a subject-expert and a computer consultant made him very unique. All throughout his career his employers and co-workers recognized and respected this rare combination. He was a great leader and team player who was constantly looking for new ways to improve things around him.
