Born on 25th May 1959 to Late Rev.Fr.A.J.Peter and Mrs.Aleyamma Peter, Arumbathu House, Ernakulam , Saju is one of four brothers and two sisters.

His youngest brother, Jaiji Peter, a prominient environmental journalist died in a car accident at a young age.

He married Susan Daniel, D/o Mr.C.G.Daniel and Mrs.Annamma Daniel, Ooriakunnathu House, Naalanchira, Trivandrum on 18th Aug 1991 and was blessed with two sons Simon and Samson.

Saju had a kind, humble, and generous spirit. He was a dedicated Christian and an active member of St.Gregoriose Orthodox Church, San Francisco, California.

A loving son, caring brother, beloved husband, devoted father, and a loyal friend, Saju will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
